To help you determine whether solvent recovery and reuse is a good option for your company, we have created a simple calculator. In the forms below, you can specify:
the monthly volume of solvent that you generate
the approximate composition of the solvent
the typical solids content range, and
the typical water content range
Using this information, the calculator will provide an estimate of the percent savings you can expect by sending your spent solvent out for recovery, rather than selling or disposing of the old solvent and purchasing new solvent.
Of course, a solvent recycler would require considerably more information to provide a quotation. But experience has shown that the estimates provided by the calculator are useful for determining feasibility.
